A large study by Harvard and Baylor showed something unexpected: Indonesia is #1 in terms of “prosperity.” It’s not just happiness, but when health, meaning, relationships, and environment are all in harmony.

Indonesia has surpassed Israel, the Philippines, and Mexico, although it is considered a middle-income country. Surprising? Researchers explain: money is not the main factor. Close connections, spirituality, and a supportive environment are more important.

“Economic growth is only part of the story. True prosperity is broader,” the authors write.
