Bali Named the World’s Favorite Travel Destination

The island of Bali has been recognized as the world’s best tourist destination in the TripAdvisor Best of the Best Destinations awards, a distinction based on thousands of enthusiastic reviews from travelers around the globe. Over a 12-month period, TripAdvisor users shared their experiences, shaping a list of places that consistently deliver outstanding travel experiences.

For Bali, this achievement is not a one-time success but part of a long-standing trend. Year after year, the island leads numerous international tourism rankings, with recognition extending beyond the island itself to include tourist villages, hotels, villas, and iconic attractions.

At the end of 2025, the coastal village of Pemuteran, located in Bali’s Buleleng regency, was honored by the UN World Tourism Organization as the Best Tourism Village in the World, highlighting the island’s commitment to sustainable and community-based tourism.

Bali is also no stranger to TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best. Over the past five years, the island has claimed first place twice and second place three times, consistently remaining at the center of global travel conversations.
